This project was developed as part of Sound & Visions, an audiovisual collaboration between students from the Royal College of Music (KMH) and Beckmans College of Design. The task was to create a motion graphics piece for approximately 60 seconds of original music, working closely with an assigned musician as an external collaborator. The visual concept was shaped through dialogue with the musician and close listening to the composition, translating rhythm, structure, and atmosphere into a coherent moving image language. A methodical process involving storyboards, moodboards, and treatments supported the transition from concept to execution. The animation was produced using Blender, incorporating digital 3D workflows such as modeling, lighting, texturing, and rendering to construct a spatial and time-based visual response to the music. Motion, pacing, and visual transitions were developed in direct relation to the composition’s dynamics. The final video was exported in both horizontal (16:9) and vertical (9:16) formats, adapting the visual system to different viewing contexts while maintaining conceptual and visual consistency. The project demonstrates an approach to motion graphics that balances collaboration, technical execution, and audiovisual storytelling.

Typeface Design (Glyphs), Screen Print, Indesign
This project explores the rebranding of Cheiron Studios, a Stockholm-based music studio that played a defining role in late-1990s and early-2000s global pop production, but no longer exists today. The graphic identity is approached as a historical trace—shaped by a specific cultural moment, local context, and global influence—while being reimagined to function across contemporary formats and applications. Research focused on Cheiron Studio's role within the music industry of its era, where highly polished pop music was produced through efficient and collaborative studio processes. This context informed an identity rooted in late-90s production culture, balancing precision, repetition, and speed. The project builds on the idea of design as sampling, where existing visual systems are reinterpreted and repositioned rather than created from scratch. Typography functions as the core carrier of the identity. A custom stencil-based typeface was developed without enclosed counters, allowing it to be used directly as a physical stencil for fast, repeatable branding. The typeface references both studio production workflows and utilitarian marking systems, bridging conceptual intent and practical use. The identity was applied to printed workwear and showcased in a vernissage, where the garments functioned as both graphic carriers and exhibition objects. Through these applications, the project explores the balance between simplicity and complexity, resulting in a restrained yet flexible system that connects Cheiron Studio's historical impact with a future-oriented graphic language.
Photo book documenting the cultural significance of Sergels Torg aka "Plattan" in Stockholm, Sweden. In collaboration with Lovisa Åkerblom.
This project presents a curated image series documenting Sergels Torg “Plattan” in central Stockholm, combining sourced archival photos with photographs captured on site. The work explores the public square as a layered social and architectural space, reflecting its historical, cultural, and urban context. The series was conceived as a book, emphasizing sequencing, scale, and relationships between images to create a coherent narrative of the square. Images are positioned to highlight contrasts between everyday activity, urban architecture, and ephemeral moments of movement, allowing the cityscape to function as both subject and lens. Editorial decisions guided the project's form: selection, cropping, and arrangement were carefully considered to balance continuity and variation, while integrating historical references alongside contemporary observations. The resulting book presents Plattan not just as a physical location but as a living archive of human interaction and urban life.
